About me
Mark McMillan is currently the Air and Water Manager of the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment’s Division of Environmental Quality. He brings over 25 years of air quality and environmental protection experience. Before joining the City in August 2022, Mark spent his career with the Colorado Air Pollution Control Division and most recently as their Chief Operating Officer. Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health from Colorado State University and a Master of Science degree in Toxicology from the University of Washington. In recent years, Mark completed a six-month Executive Leadership development program, modeled in part after the Harvard Business School’s Authentic Leadership program. He is also an alumnus of the Regional Institute for Health and Environmental Leadership (RIHEL) and is a past RIHEL Board Chair. Mark is a lifetime CEHA member and has served the Association in a variety of Board positions and on various conference planning committees.
